I am not lost!!!!!

Just busy!!!!! Really should be doing homework!!!
Here is what I have been doing----not blogging!


This is Josh's first game. The rest are still on the camera. I will get to that---someday. Tomorrow. :-) He is #49. He plays both offense and defense.


How did he get so big???? And when did he grow up?????

Yikes!!!!!

I am writing a response paper for a history class I am taking. Seriously, I don't think I can do it. You know how long it's been since I have had to do anything like this? Well most of you probably have a good idea. I don't have pictures of that either, so here is one of Sammi's. LOL!!! She did such a good job they displayed it last year at Barnes and Noble when Peter Cotton Tail made an appearance. I had to look up what a response paper was on the internet. However I found a place that would do it for me :) Seriously, I am a little stressed and it's not due til the 18th. I am going into education. Currently I am taking classes in Special Education. The history class in an extra class I need to fulfuill requirements. Obviously I am finding other things to do. So.......................I think I will go mow the lawn.

Back to School

So it's just not my children that are going back to school. It's me--and just a few to many hundreds of dollars later--here is what I brought home.
Anyway, I started school on the 24th. My children went back on the 20th. So we have had a lot of schedule changes in the last week. So I am a bit late in getting this posted. So far I have enjoyed all of it, I am still missing a book for one class, but it's on it's way.

I did however take pictures of my children on the first day of school--Here they are! I think they are all so handsome :)
So here is Sammi--she is so cute.

And dang, I somehow didn't get Mason's picture on the first day of school. What a horrible mother I am!!!!!! so you get to see him playing football instead! How did I do that?
And then of course Adam and Josh. Both are growing up so fast!

JOSH

Don't have many pictures of him. Josh went and helped his Uncle Brett cut out corn mazes around the country. So we didn't have many pictures. While he was home, he had football conditioning every morning and some nights. Anyway Here is a few of him! Some he would probably be mad at me for posting---so---I don't know.

Adam's summer

Adam--finishing a swim meet in Jackson. It was great, he swam every race he could--but he sure was tired when he was done.

Adam swimming the front crawl--he did a great job, and brought home a blue ribbon in this race.

Soccer---Adam was the only one who played this year. So that was nice. I have a hard watching the game---oh wait this story isn't about me! is it!!!! Anyway, he did very well. The game was so much more organized this year--it was not a pack of children chasing a ball. He was scored goals and their record was 6 wins 2 losses. So great job team.

Bear Lake--well you all know we had a great time there. We would love to go back. Most likely next year.

The Pirate game the kids played---Adam aparently lost his arm and had a shovel for an appendage. They had lots of fun playing.

Mason's Summer

Mason's Summer Adventure
I was going to post pictures everyday of each of the kids---School started and I put it off. Anyway these are pictures of Mason.

Here he is at Bear Lake. He then went to Utah for a week, to spend time with Cody. He had fun, but we sure missed him.

This is that cool little shed in Virginia City, MT. His favorite thing was either the train or the candy store. We liked them both.

Mason was the first one at the pond--throwing anything he could into it.

The swim team at Heise. He is doing so well this year. He missed both meets in Jackson, was able to participate in the fun meet at Heise. We are so proud of him.

Sammi's Summer

So I thought I would share some of our photos from our Summer. These are some great ones from Sammi's adventurous summer.

Sammi joined the swim team. She didn't really like it much-but she did really well. She can now jump off the side of the pool and swim to the edge. Here she is practicing with the kick board, but it's the only one I had where her face is above the water.

We went boating at Bear Lake. We had a family reunion there--it was so much fun.

Of course we played in the water and the sun. Bear Lake is a wonderful place to play and have fun. The sand is great. You can see it is all over her.

This is just a silly picture of her. The kids were playing a pirate game and digging on the beach for treasure. Grandma and Aunt Janae made them all PJ's and buried them in the sand.

We took a day trip to Virginia City, MT. I loved these pictures of her. This one was them playing by a pond--and of course we can't play by a pond without throwing rocks in it---right?

There was a cool old shed there-so we naturally we had to take some pictures.

Sammi turned 7 in July. You can tell I didn't make that cake. I meant to though. We had a little party with just us and her. Wow---where did all that time go? I really wish she was 1 again.

Regardless, she had a great time. I am sad summer is over. School starts on Thursday :(
We do have a new school to go to, so the kids are excited about that. I myself wish I had them home for 3 more months.

JULY???????? Where did it go?

I was just thinking I hadn't posted anything for a while. Asking myself where the month of July went, and my answer is I don't know. We have done some fun things--the photos are still on my camera. That has been my excuse for waiting to do this tomorrow. Between Family Reunions, birthdays, soccer, swim meats, and just trying to make the month last longer---I have just plain procrastinated. Now that's all over and we have just started football. School registration is tomorrow. WoW! I can not believe it. I find myself contemplating the 2 months of summer that are just gone. Josh has just taken another trip to Oklahoma, and is driving to Texas tonight and then on to Arizona. He says it's really really really hot. He will be glad to be home. Mason and Adam have started football--and really like it. It's hard work though. Sammi and I are just taking it easy. Ivan is heading off to his High Adventure for Scouts in the morning. I just finished taking a health class--which by the way I got a 98% in. Good Job Me! So my blog has taken a bit of a back seat to all our fun activities we have done, or reading a good book or whatever else I could find to not clean my house. :) So we have been busy this month, but we surely found ways to just hang out and not do much. We have enjoyed our time together as a family and wish summer lasted 3 more months.

Our trip to Arkansas to see the Sedricks was so much fun.
We went to Pea Ridge, a Civil War site. I was surprised the kids really like this.
We went to the Terra Studios, where we watched them make these bluebirds of happiness. We also met the Trash Troll.now which one was it??????

Goldilocks and a bear? or is it 2 bears? Seriously this place had so many cool things. Lots of little pottery all over a labryinth and look who we met. It's George, Myrtle and Hubert. Not my cousins! :)

We visited a working mill. It was really cool. I would love to buy my grains from a place like this all the time. Probably couldn't afford it, but I would like it. It has a working water wheel and everything. It was great.




We went boating. We had so much fun. Everyone tried wakeboarding. We had a great time.

Adam had gotten up the last time, but struggled on this day to get up. I missed the pictures the 1st time he went. Oh well.

Sammi and Mason on the tube. They all had so much fun. The water was so warm.
This is one of their favorite things to do.

This photo does have a story. It's somewhere in Wyoming. We let LOLA(we named the GPS in the car ;) ) take us wherever she wanted. She did wonderfully in Kansas City. We didn't take 1 wrong turn. But for some reason she didn't want us to go to Rock Springs--so this was her back road--absolutely nothing was out here. Just 20 miles of dirt road and wind. We were to take a turn off ---off of this road, but it had washed out. Hmmmm--there was a new one we had past, so we turned around and took the new road. Our children, thought we were lost. We knew where we were and where we needed to go, so no big deal. We just chalked it up to adventrue and laughed.

Thanks Sean and Holly. We appreciate your hospitality. We had a great time. You guys are the best. Great job in getting Ivan to take us. :)

My Garden

This is all I have to post. I was going to post a bunch of stuff, because we have been very busy. I have some great photos of our trip to Arkansas and some of Josh taking 3rd in district track. I brought my camera and went off and forgot the cable. Darn it. So now you get to see a picture of Ivan working in my garden getting it ready to plant. By the way it is planted just not getting enough sun because it keeps on raining. But we do have stuff coming up. So I guess you will all have to wait for our pictures of the bluebird of happiness(hmm --you ask what that is? You will just have to wait) and time on the lake. We had a great time. We really appreciate the time the Sedricks took to entertain us. Other big news---I have gone back to school. I have started my first summer class thru the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls. I am enjoying the class called Access to Health. I am hoping the others are as enjoyable--probably not. But I should be done in a year if I take 12 credits each semester and 1 class next summer. Not to bad actually. I am kinda of excited. Josh has finished drivers ed---hooray!!!!! Mason is just about done with baseball----well if it would stop raining long enough to play a game anyway. Adam just started soccer and Sammi just started baseball. Not so bad though because they are only once a week. Well I am just rambling--so I am going to go do a whole lot more of nothing somewhere else.

What we've been up to.

Hmmmmmmm, Where to begin--running. Everyone has been so busy, I thought I would share some of our events ---- Mason is playing baseball. Twice a week. This has been fun, and usually very windy.
Josh has been doing Track--and yikes just started drivers ed!!!!! But here he is running the hurdles. Look how high he is he took 3rd. Great Job















Oh and we just finished dance with Sammi--Hooray! But the recital was so cute. They girls did a wonderful job.
Of course we shared Adam's project with you already, and he will be starting soccer sometime--just not counting on it being just yet.

Look what Adam made

Well you can tell it's a Pinata. Adam had this project due for his 6th grade social studies class on friday. I think this looks like a thanksgiving turkey, but it's not. It's a very very messy messy project.

Yep it's Patrick from Sponge Bob Square Pants. I think he turned out so cool. I wanted to do an Easter Egg---(cuz' it's easy). Nice Mom! But Adam really wanted to do this, so I said Ok. But there was no way I was going to do the little squares of tissue paper. We did that before--took forever!!!!!! So 3 bottles of paint later and some cool shorts---I think he turned out so cool. Good Job Adam!!!!!
